Ghana Police Activate “Police Invisible Eye” Camera Surveillance

The Ghana Police Administration has introduced the “Police Invisible Eye” (PIE); police patrol vehicles pre-installed with secret cameras to record various atrocities on our roads and bring these perpetrators to face the law.

The said vehicles will patrol the major highways and accident prevalent roads across the country.

The new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare, said the service is taking the route, cognisant of the need to restore all missing links to effective police-community collaborations.

Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the current General of Police, says this is a step in the positive direction in ensuring safety and also strengthening police-community collaborations.
