Did you know #IconicDuo viral trend is Nokia and Android partnership?

It turns out the #IconicDuo hashtag that went viral on social media was in connection with the marriage between HMD Nokia, producers of much-loved new models of Nokia phones and Android, the world’s most patronized software platform.

On social media, people are sharing great examples of #iconicDuos.

Gary Al Smith’s sports example was ”Sergio Ramos and Yellow card”, while some random Tweeter called Snu Snu showed off a Hennessey and Coke saying “#IconicDuo de3, there is nothing better”.

One post from @BarristerDrew celebrates two renowned Ghana actors, Judas and Santo in Twi “Asuo a eyiri p3ber3” saying “The greatest. #IconicDuo”

For the food lovers, Felix Romark showcased Ghanaian delicacy of “abolo and a type of small fish known as ‘one man thousand’” calling it the “the best combo # IconicDuo”. So many funny #IconicDuo posts and it went viral.

But! Who would have thought that Nokia would get onboard the Android train? Anyway, it is worth it. Yes, the suspense created by the campaign is as iconic as the #IconicDuo themselves, Nokia and Android.

The two are certainly creating a legacy for the future. As @qwestmatic said, “Nokia has 9 lives”.

They say #NokiaMobileonAndroid what is your favourite #IconicDuo?
