Kofi Nkansah Appointed as CEO of NEIP by president akuffo-Addo.
Mr Kofi Nkansah, a member of the New Patriotic Party, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovative Programme (NEIP). He was appointed by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.
Mr Nkansah was the former Managing Director of Accra Digital Centre and announced his appointment on his Facebook social media page, where he posted a picture of himself and the president in the president’s office.
“Afa! Thank you, Mr President. #NEIPCEO,” Kofi Nkansah captioned his post.
In the circles of the NPP, Mr Nkansah is known to be part of the ‘Foot Soldiers President” and is one of the pioneers of social media activism in the party.
In February 2017, Kofi Nkansah was appointed as Managing Director of the Accra Digital Centre by President Akuffo-Addo in his first year in office.
Being the first MD, he led and drove innovation and entreprpeneurship in the Tech Ecosystem to help build a thriving environment to harness the nation’s digital potentials.
The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) is a flagship policy initiative of the Government of Ghana.
The primary objective of the state agency is to provide integrated national support for start-ups and small businesses. NEIP primarily focuses on providing business development services; startup incubators and funding for young businesses to enable them to grow and become successful.
