Nana Owusu Ansah Sasraku Besseah further informed the Member of Parliament of the plans by the Koase community to institute a nursing training college.

Speaking to Ghanaweb, the Koase Chief indicated that his community is building up new classrooms where the primary school is situated to be used by the junior high school pupils so that, that site can be used to set up the nursing training college.

The Koase Chief said ”the community in 2020, began the construction of new classrooms on the same compound at where the primary school is located”. He continued that ”we will then use that site, where the current junior high school is, to establish nursing training colleges because it has a vast land”.

”We decided to establish a nursing training college so that our children can be trained here to take care of us”. This, according to the chief, will solve the issue of health workers who refuse to accept postings to his community with a flimsy excuse.
