NYA/ADC/AITI Digital marketing Programme launched to create 3000 jobs

A National Youth Authority (NYA) training programme which was launched today is set to provide 3,000 digital jobs for the youth.

In the 21st Century, businesses need to take advantage of every opportunity to maximise their marketing presence to as many potential customers as is possible. The most efficient way of doing this is to implement a highly effective online marketing strategy. However, many businesses, especially small businesses, struggle to implement any kind of online marketing as they do not have the expertise.

For this reason, the National Youth Authority, Ghana is offering a fully sponsored training programme in online marketing for Ghanaian youth with an interest in pursuing careers in technology and growing their business.

The programme is a 12-week online digital marketing and entrepreneurship training spread across all 10 regions.

Each region has an average of 300 slots for youths aged between 18 and 35 years with a basic appreciation of the internet and social media.

ECOBANK is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Youth Authority to hire the trainees after they complete their programme of study.


The Youth and Sports Minister, Isaac Asiamah, who has been instrumental in creating collaborations between the NYA, the Accra Digital Center, and the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Center for ICT Excellence was present at the event, as well as the CEO of the Accra Digital Center Eric Ofosu Nkansah.
