Switching to Digital TV Will Begin In Middle of 2020 – Minister of Communications

The Minister of Communications, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, met with stakeholders corncerning government decisions on the Digital Terrestrial Television (DDT) migration project.

The Minister of Communications, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, met with stakeholders corncerning government decisions on the Digital Terrestrial Television (DDT) migration project.

In the meeting with stakeholders, she stated that the government was making sure there is an active participation of all players in the migration process.

She further said that the Digital Switch Over (DSO) Will finally begin from the middle of 2020.

Citizens will be required to get a new digital Set-Top Boxes that fall within the standard of NCA to enable them get access to TV content during the switching.
