Taxify Launches in Ghana, with 40% discount off all rides

Taxify, Europe and Africa’s fastest-growing on demand ride-hailing platform has launched today in Accra, Ghana with hundreds of drivers signed up and ready to go and 40% off rides this month.

Founded in Europe’s Estonia, Taxify’s key differentiating factor is that the company believes in treating drivers better with the understanding that happier drivers make for happier riders and superior ride experiences.

Albert Aryee, Taxify’s Operations Manager Ghana, comments “Accra is an exciting and vibrant market with a majority youth population constantly on the move.

Taxify is here to contribute to healthy competition in the market by ensuring that drivers can take more money home driving on our platform and riders can save money at the same time.”

Taxify takes only 15% commission from its drivers, compared to the 25% that competitors take.

The Taxify app will allow customers to use their smartphones to request trips from the nearest Taxify driver, who will use GPS to locate the customer, then take the customer to an agreed destination. With competitive rates and reliability, Taxify is set to be the go-to online transportation app upon its launch.
