Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus to be announced in February 2018 at MWC

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is just a month away from becoming official, as Samsung has confirmed that its 2018 flagship will see a launch at MWC in February.

It’s unlikely the impending unveiling will have many surprises in store, though, as we already know a much about the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, courtesy of the online rumour mill.

Evan Blass, a well-known tech informant, says he learned from a C-level executive at a smartphone-case maker that the Galaxy S9 and larger Galaxy S9 Plus will be available to pre-order on March 1 and will go on sale on March 16.

If you already know you’re going to drop the cash on a Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus, the big day is March 1st. Pre-orders should be live at that time, but there will most likely be some variation across different markets and carriers. Here in Ghana, Pre-orders are expected to be around 15th March.

Phones will reportedly ship and hit store shelves in Ghana during the last week of March 2018.

Predicted Price of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in Ghana

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is predicted to go for GHS 4,200 with the S9 Plus at GHS 4,800 when they are released into the Ghanaian market this year. Depending on deals that they could come with, the prices should be a bit lower.
