MTN Ghana entered the shores of Ghana in 2006 after obtaining ownership of the then Areeba network operated by Scancom Ghana Limited.

Airtel, previously known as Zain Ghana was first launched in Ghana in the year 2008 by Zain Group limited with the first 3.5G internet speed ever experienced in Ghana.

Bharti Airtel, a leading Telecommunications network then came to Ghana in the year 2010 and merged with Zain to form a new brand known as Airtel.

Tigo, on the other hand, has been one of the longest-serving names in the Telecommunications industry of Ghana.

Tigo has been operational in Ghana for some 20 years.
